First edition of 120 short pieces designed for beginners on the harpsichord or clavichord. One of the rare works of this period for beginners: the pieces are short and easy but nevertheless musically interesting.

Second edition containing notable differences, especially of ornamentation, published in two series of 60 pieces each.
